The Trustees of the Academy are seeking an Assistant Headteacher to lead our Pastoral Support Team with the knowledge, experience and skills to build on our strong values and our drive to improve outcomes for all the young people of our community.
The core purpose of this post
Ansford is an inclusive school of around 550 students, with intake from the rural town of Castle Cary and its surrounding villages. We are a community school at heart with a central role in developing the lives of the young people in our care. We are at an exciting time in our development journey and the school is well positioned to continue improving so that we can offer our young people the very best educational experience that we can, with every student enabled and supported to achieve the very best they are capable of, whatever their starting point.
